Does psych 1X03/1XX3 count as a social sci course
I'm going to life sci this September and wish to go to med or vet school in the future. I've been looking at the prereqs for them and almost all of them need a full year of a social sci courses. Do the two psych courses count as social sci courses?

Different schools put them in different faculties. You'll have to contact each school to make sure. McMaster classifies it under the science faculty.

This question has been answered multiple times by multiple people over the last couple of days.
It depends on the school, look it up for whatever school and program you want to know about.
