Does a TimeTable Conflict has to be resolved?
Hello, I have a time table conflict between a physics lab and 1bb3 lecture. I cant change my lecture or lab section as the rest are either full or further conflict my timetable. I was just wondering if I can go through a term with a conflict in my schedule. I can just attend another lecture session at a different time.

Thanks

Go talk to the prof, they will be more than happy to switch your lab section.

I think it's technically okay to go through the term with a conflict. But if you come across any problems, you'll be out of luck.
For example, if you have a test in the lab AND the lecture on the same day, the prof isn't required to reschedule it for you. It's the risk you take when you overlap your courses. (I think, but I'm not 100% sure)

I would suggest going to the department and talking to the administrative assistant. Chances are, there are some "hidden" spots open in another lecture section and they will be able to fix it for you.

I had a friend who had conflicts in 2 different courses but he didn't want to drop it cuz he liked the courses. He ended up going to both classes' lectures alternating each week. (still did really well in both courses rofl) -physics major guy.

It's definitely possible. Just be sure to have someone in lecture to get notes from and such. But before you do that try and switch by contacting your instructional assistant or professor for your physics class to try and switch you into another section that doesn't conflict with your schedule.

Not necessarilly, I have conflicts too but that is with a course lecture that I won't go so as long as it doesn't bother you it's fine. However if you have labs or tutorial conflicts then it has to be resolved. In that case you could go talk to the prof is solar doesn't solve your issue
