What Does your Official Transcript look like?
Hey guys, just a quick general question. Do transcripts list the CA when you graduate? (I ask because many American schools/UK schools specify CA) do they calculate it or is it listed?

Also, do our transcripts look like degree audit or our grade reports? (I hope its like degree audit...it looks much cleaner...just my opinion).

Thanks in advance guys!

They include a sessional average per year. Pretty much look like a combination of Grade Report and Degree Audit. Includes details about scholarships received etc.

So in other words, it wont look any different from Grade reports? I figured it would change once you are a graduate because it is probably hard as hell for grad schools to individually calculate Major GPA, and CA, etc. So you are essentially telling me CA is not even listed on your final transcript AT ALL? It seems kinda weird..it is even listed in Grade Reports at the end of every session

Yeah I'm looking at my transcript right now and this is the basic layout:

Your admission summary (usually your OSSD)

Your record of study, broken down by each session (fall/winter is one session, then spring/summer is the other), and it indicates the program that you were enrolled in for each session, so if you switched from program A in second year to B in third year, that will show up on your transcript. Grades are only given in letters, and then it has your sessional average as ##.#/30 (or however many units you took). Then it has a notation about dean's honour list or whatever, if you received it. That continues through for every term you were registered in at Mac (even if you registered and then withdrew all courses, the session is listed, with the program you were registered in, and then there are just no courses listed under that session).
then it has a section for scholarships, and then degrees conferred (with the dates).

no CA anywhere on it.

Also, on the back it explains the grading system and how letters = 12-point = percentage.

If you're curious, you can always go order one...you don't need to pay anything.

It does include your CA per year.

Sessional Average: something out of 12 / # number of units taken

So if I got a 9.5 average this year, and I've taken 36 units it will show up as

SESSIONAL AVERAGE: 9.5 / 36

Thanks so much everyone for looking into it! I just find it funny that CA is not listed anywhere...it is kinda weird...especially because some countries specifically emphasize it..also, hate how it seems to be listed like grade reports...its so much more organized through degree audit...and is much more condensed..

CA is cumulative average, over your entire time at Mac. There is no such thing as a "CA per year"...that's the SA (sessional average).

If you have a disability status, does anyone know if it will show up on your transcript?
