Does anybody know the requirements for it this year? I checked my mugsi and it says the I am ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION. I remember reading somewhere here before that the requirements change depending on how well the students in each faculty does. I am in the faculty of science and I was wondering 2 things:

1) Is anyone else eligible?
2) Does anyone know the actual conditions this year for science students?

This year, no, but last year it was 11.4 I think and so I'm assuming it will be somewhere similar this year?

Yay I am also eligible for the Hooker scholarship

Gosh, does anyone not get the scholarship after being "eligible for consideration"? That'd suck...

The only requirement is achieving a certain sessional GPA during the last fall/winter session. You won't find out the actual cutoff this year until December when the reports are released.

Yes, a quota is established for each Faculty, so the GPA cutoff may fluctuate year to year depending on how well students performed in the preceding academic session.

2) Does anyone know the actual conditions this year for science students?

I got it last year, so I'm thinking it is a cutoff of 11.4/12. I doubt I'll get it this year. :(

I had 11.4 last year but mine dosent show anything. Do you know when does it show on Mugsi if you are eligible or not.

I just know that the ones requiring applications were up the day you submitted them (given that you had everything and were eligible). Other than this, Hooker and Senate, I'm not sure about the others. Mind you, the SFAS still has the rest of the summer to make their decisions.

And yes, the Hooker cutoff is higher than the Senate.

How many of these do they give out?
