To Drop or Not to Drop
I need some help...

So I'm in fourth year and I've dropped a few courses previously. I was considering dropping one of mine this year since I did very poorly on a 30% midterm in class that only has 2 midterms (30%) and a final (40%). The midterm average was a 65% so I'm assuming that the next midterm and final will also be challenging. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have no input, but Jon Snow is the man. If your not quoting GoT, then this is awkward...

Hm, although Dr. Day is a great prof, his tests are killers. =/
I took PSYCH 2B in summer school with a different prof and got a better mark than I would have had I taken it with Day.

Are you planning on graduating this year? If so, dropping courses probably isn't the best idea, but if you're coming back then summer school is always an option, as well as taking a completely different course altogether.

If you did poorly, then I'm sure others are in the same boat as you. Why don't you talk to the prof and ask him if there's a possibility of you pushing on the midterm mark onto the exam? And then study a lot for the upcoming material.

It's worth a try.

Best of luck.
