dropping a course?
hey!

currently taking 5 courses this term, was thinking of dropping a course, thus having four courses this term.

the problem with that is i want to apply to grad schools, and other professional schools such as med and law. would dropping a course ruin my chances of getting into any of these?

Having one or two cancelled courses on your transcript isn't a big deal to grad schools. They won't care. It would only be a problem if you had like 3 cancelled courses per term.

You can pick up another course next term (taking 6 classes instead of 5), and then you'll still take the amount of units you need for the year. I did this a few times, the courseload isn't too bad.

rania says thanks to Kathy2 for this post.
