Dropping a course
Hi there everyone. Well, I've just been considering dropping a course, but I'm on OSAP. Since I would no longer have a full course load (unless I took six courses next term), would my OSAP be affected a lot? There's possibly no way for me to do well in the course at this point, but I don't want them to be like "Lulul, part time stoodent, no osep 4 u". Thanks for any help .

your osap will be affected, by how much is dependent on other factors like whether ur living away from home or yours or your families income. Better to go talk to someone at the financial aid office. I dropped a class in first year without taking another one and it affected my osap, but i didn't have to pay them back because it was first time. I don't know if this will be the case for you

Just because you don't have a full courseload, that doesn't make you a part-time student.

Oh I see. Well, after moping around for a few hours, I think I'll just stay in it. There's no guarantee I can do better if I take it a second time, and honestly i don't even want to try :'O.

that's a good plan. If you were to drop it you'll have a cancelled notation beside that class.
