Dropping a full-year course?
Hey hey, so I'm in third year, and have never needed to drop a course. I'm taking a third year course which is out of my discipline, and it's 6 units. Unfortunately, I can't seem to maintain a very high grade in this course. Especially after receiving my midterm mark, I'm realizing that i really shouldn't be in this course. I'm interested in grad school / law school, so risking a low mark really isn't an option.

Is it too late to drop this course without academic penalty? If not, will I receive any money back? Also, how do I go about doing it? Do I just go on SOLAR and select "drop" and then add the courses that I want to replace it with?

Sorry, I feel like I should know this by third year, but it's a new situation for me. Thanks for your help!

Okay, after some rummaging, I figured it out. I owe 50% of the fees. Seems fair enough!
