Earth and Environmental science questions (URGENT) switching to life science!!
Hey guys! I'm attending Mac this fall and I have quick question about my program. Seeing as I missed the life science cutoff by .38% I accepted my Earth and Environmental Science program as my plan B. The thing is I don't really want to take environmental science courses, and i'm not sure if I HAVE to take them, seeing as I plan to switch to Life Science second year and do not require those courses as prerequisites. I've searched this topic online and some people said no it's not madatory, and others say yes. If I could just get some feedback, it's been over 3 weeks and the academic advisor of my program has not emailed me back. Thanks in advance

try calling the academic advisors as opposed to emailing them. and email them again, maybe it got lost in the spam filter (try to use a gmail address as opposed to yahoo or hotmail).

I had a similar situation first year. Social Science I was full by the time I applied in late June, but there was still space in Humanities so accepted that. I didn't take the required number of Humanities credits and stuck with the requirements for the program I wanted. It wasn't a problem at all.
