Or you can try putting your $800+ to good use and buy 3 units in something you want to learn

Sorry but why are you going to university again?
If you do decide to sign up because you think something is a bird course, don't come to class and talk the whole way through because some people are there to learn. Stay home and take your chances on passing.

Econ 1B03 is the #1 Bird Course - Dr. Holmes is very generous with bonus marks (there's usually 2 bonus marks per midterm, and 5 bonus marks for the exam) that you can earn by doing bonus quizzes. And she is a good lecturer who explains concepts concisely and sufficiently.
It gets filled fast and I found the course interesting, learning about different market structures and how price and quantity equilibrium is derived from each.

Or maybe he is looking for an elective course? What's with the influx of idiots in this topic (barring bradyr)?
Anyway, both the first year Econ courses are quite easy. As are the first year Geography and Env Sci courses. If you like Psych, you might like Psych 1X03 although there were mixed feelings about this course in terms of 'birdiness'.

Well if you want to talk flux, lets say the control area is equal to the the clickable area of the thread topic, and we assume steady state. Three people liked my post and Menzies agreed with me allowing a total idiotic flux of 5 opinions per (link size)*time. The thread was posted 18 hours ago, and 33 characters of clickable text (area).
J_Idiots = (5 opinions)/(33 characters)*(18hr*60m *60s) = 0.0000023 opinions / character*second.
You can learn all about transport phenomena too if you choose to take real courses!

MimeMime....Since when is encouraging people to take full advantage of the opportunity denied to millions around the world to have a meaningful education warrant being labelled an "idiot"?

I found Econ 1B03 to be a very difficult course. Don't take it if youre not in a STEM program; the course exams essentially consists of all calculations. I found that while the engineering and some of the science students aced the course, arts students generally did poorly in it.
Peace Studies, Sociology and Music 1AA3 are the easiest first year courses I've come across (in arts).

As a TA for the first year geography classes, I get a kick out of them being listed in every single thread as bird courses. You still need to show up, do the work, and study -- even if people tell you it's an easy course. The average is still in the 60s and people can and DO fail every single semester.
Menzies is right - the people who look for the bird courses (even for electives) are the same ones who will complain that they can't get a job when they finish school. University is about so much more than getting a degree with the least effort possible. The more you put in, the more you'll get out of it.
Menzies

Unless all you really need is a high GPA for graduate and professional schools. You can challenge yourself in undergrad and see it as an end in itself, rather than a means to an end, but if your grades are poor or average it doesn't open up a whole lot of doors for you. This is especially true of undergrad science and arts degrees. Keep in mind that this whole idea of bird courses is entirely subjective upon the person. Find a course that interests you so that you are motivated to study and excel in it. But I also wouldn't be too quick to bash this idea of students searching for bird courses. Undergrad is the new high school diploma, the exceptions being engineering, computer science, accounting. Graduate school admissions is a bloodbath now, where a B+ GPA just doesn't cut it anymore. Medical school medians have risen into the 3.9's (11 GPA range). Blame the system we have in place now that makes becoming a professional such as doctor, lawyer, optometrist, dentist, etc. incredibly difficult.

Music 1A03 was pretty good if you're looking for a GPA-booster that's also fairly interesting!
