Easiest Courses in Biology Course List
Hey guys,

I decided that I will most likely be going into the Honours Biology program and when looking at the requirements, it said that I need to take 18 credits of courses that are on the Biology Course List.

I am planning on taking 2 a year (but I might take more or less in a certain year).

I was just wondering, in your opinion and from your experience, which are the 6 easiest courses on that list.

Thanks!

Easiness is subjective since everyone is different. Just take courses that seems interesting to you and stop trying to find shortcuts in getting your degree, its your education.

I say you take the easiest courses you can. Relax. Live a little. Learning is for losers.

I found 2B03, 2C03, 2F03, 3AA3, 3P03 3UU3 to be very easy. There are others that are easy that are on the course list too, but it's been a while and I dont remember.

I actually didn't think 2B03 and 2C03 were that easy but I agree with 2F03 being easy!

3AA3 and 3UU3 were not very tough at all. I've heard mixed reviews about 3P03.

it probably is best to take courses that interest you and that you dont mind the marking scheme. looking at the course list for bio, i would say most of the courses are all similar in terms of difficulty, especially those enviro courses.

Bio 2F03 will probably the easiest course you will take at mac! Bio 2B03 is so interesting that it just makes it easy (though a little tad bit difficult in the beginning).

You've already got specific suggestions. Put me down for the "whatever interests you" camp. Generally I like to think of it like this:

I don't want to pay $600 dollars for the privilege of sitting through hours and hours of class on stuff I don't give a crap about it. And then spending a hundred bucks for a textbook filled with words I don't give a crap about. And then having to read this stuff and make notes that I won't give a crap about. All for the possibility that the number that appears on my transcript might be higher. That's a lot of money to go through four months of boring hell.

...though if an interesting course just happens to be easy as well ...

The biology courses are mostly the same level of difficulty with the exception of Bio 2f03. I would say go for what your interested in because majority of the courses are about the same difficulty. And remember biology is a very diverse discipline. I am a genetics wiz and did well in Biology 2C03 but a lot of the other students did not although they did put in a lot of time studying as well. Think about your strengths as well.
