Econ 1B03 and PSYCH 1X03
Hello, I did not take Bio 4U or any Math 4U in highschool. I am planning on majoring in Social Psychology, will I have trouble in PSYCH 1X03? And how much math is in Econ 1B03, I don't want to major in economics, but it appears to be an interesting course, I did not take 4U math, will I have trouble completed the course work and tests? Any help is appreciated! Thanks

Very easy course (abit harder this year to ward off the intense cheating). The most math you'll do is like 4 step basic math calculations. It is more logic then applying simple calcs.

So you think I will be fine to take ECON 1B03 no problem? is it mostly knowledge and memorization and then applying them rather than math test? Also, are there math tests in ECON 1B03? I know you need calc or its hard to major in econ with out it, is this course purely economics?

lmao omg thank god its a first year asking this. Econ 1B03 is one of the easiest courses you can take in university. Disregard that previous comment someone made satating "four step" calculations, because changing between division and subtraction doesnt count as difficult steps. This course is for mark boosting, you can sleep through lectures, or not attend at all, and still get a 10 and up.

That's great to hear! thank you so much for your input! In addition, does anyone have any advice for bio or math knowledge required or necessary before enrolling in PSYCH 1X03? I am good at memorization so if that is all that is necessary will I be fine for both courses?

There is a bit of statistics in 1x03 and a little bit of bio, nothing that you cant easily learn on your own though
