Econ 1B03 or Psych 1X03 Night school?
Which would you suggest to take in night school? Econ 1B03? or PYSCH 1X03?

What makes each interesting? Which has an easier work load?

I'm in math and stats program with a life sci schedule (4 math, 2 bio, 2 chem, 2 physics)

Which one is easier? I'd say microeconomics, although I did not get a super high mark in the class, probably because I did not enjoy the topic at all.

Which one is more interesting? Psychology by far. Micro was one of the most boring classes I've taken, psychology is easily the most enjoyable, but can be challenging at times.

I would highly recommend psych as the content is so fascinating.

Econ 1b03 for a lighter work load. You should do alright since most of it is common sense and basic math.

i think its 2 calculus courses, 1 linear alg, and that course on writing proofs. i forget the course code.

but I am also a math major and I definitely like econ 1b03 more than Psych. Not to mention that econ was also a much easier course and a lot more math related compared to Psych as well.

It comes down to personal preference. I didn't personally take Econ but I spent a lot of time helping friends with it and being at some of the classes. I DID take Psych 1X03 and it was easily one of the best courses I took last year as well as the easiest 12. Joe Kim is constantly trying to improve his pedagogical methods to help his students learn better and since the lectures are all online, they are very convenient and you can watch them whenever you want. You can also pause and take notes, then re-play the lecture at your leisure. This was great for me since I had a busy schedule that semester.

In addition to that, there are weekly quizes every Friday on the past week's content. Although these were a bit annoying, when I sat down to study for the exam, I didn't even really have to study that much because I knew most of the material from the quizzes.

Anyway, I absolutely LOVED Psych 1X03, but I know some people who hated the online lecture format and the quizzes. Think about what you like and how you learn best
