Econ 2G03 vs. 1BB3?
Hi, I'm interested in taking a couple more econ courses. Would you recommend econ 2G03 (doing 1b03 now) or 1BB3? I've heard both are fairly harder than 1B03 but I'm okay with that. Regardless, anyone have an opinion of which one is less of a workload/easier? I am proficient in calculus as well so I'm hoping that won't be a problem for 2G03

If you are currently in first year, it's recommended that you take 1BB3 instead. That being said, if you know the basics of differentiation, especially when dealing with multiple variables (which is similar to how you deal with single variables) you should do 2G03 as well. The trickiness comes with the fact that it's extremely technical but the math isn't hard.

I am currently in first year, but I'm thinking about the electives for next year. I haven't done multivariable calculus, but I have done calculus at Mac (1A03). I don't know if that'll be sufficient for 2G03

The multivariable is easy; when you differentiate one variable, think of the other variables as constants and do your same procedure. They show it in the class. But considering you have taken 1A03, that's more than enough to get by in 2G03, regardless of prof.
