Econ 2H03 summer...wrong final grade?
I'll do my best not to sound like a whiner or a smartass,

I took econ 2h03 in the 2nd term of this summer and went into the final with an 8. My final mark showed that I finished the course with a 4. Now the final was 50% but I believe I would have needed something like 30% to drop that much and I am seriously suspecting an error has been made.

The prof said something about this being her last term here; I've contacted her but she has not replied. Is there anyone I can contact that could help me resolve this? I've messaged the Economics department already.

If it matters, I am going into third year Commerce and have never dropped that much in any of my classes.

Thanks for the help.

Whether the prof is done or not, you have the right to view your exam and/or ask for a regrade. If you've contacted the econ dept, then just wait for their response as to what you should do. Go see them in person if they don't respond before you're back on campus.

an 8 is between 73-76% i think. a 4 ranges from 60-64 i think. you would have needed around 45% on the final to drop to a 4. a 30% on the final would have gotten u like a 1 or 2 (low-mid 50) or something.

Thanks for that correction. I will still try and ask for a regrade/review of my final mark as I still do not believe that I could have finished with that mark.
