Does anyone else taking this course have it up in ELM? I'm pretty sure the prof said that he had activated it on ELM, but I can't see it yet and want to know if I need to go bug the faculty or if everyone has the same issue.

Hey this is unrelated but I am in this course as well. But I had faculty night as a rep last night and couldn't make it out! What exactly did we cover? And how much time did the prof keep you guys for? Did he give any suggestions for extra help books?

He said that he's going to start at 7pm sharp, and let us out at 9:30 most of the time.

He went over chapters 1&2 briefly, before focusing on chapter 4, which is apparently very important (and what most of the first quiz will be on). We're supposed to read chapter 4 for next lecture.

Could you log on to ELM and see if it appears in your courses list?

Nvm - I'll wait for all the ELM problems to clear up before I start complaining

Did he say getting previous editions of it is okay or not? Do you remember?

I was a bit late, so I might have missed any discussion re: older editions. Send him an email?

I'm kind of annoyed about the book as well; the specific 4th Canadian edition isn't available ANYWHERE else (Amazon, etc...) that I can see... Titles FTW!
