Econ 2P03
Just wondering if anyone has take economics of sports and how they found the class in terms of interests, test, readings etc. Im planning on taking it in the summer and it would a huge help in making a decision.
Oh and what other econ courses would you recommend for the summer?

If Dawson is the prof, the class is a huge joke.

There's a courseware that has no relevance..never referenced in class or on the test..biggest waste of $80 in my life.

All he does all class is state loads of random facts and then the test is just a multiple choice selection of those facts. It's good if you have a photographic memory.

The questions are not focused on specifically important events or anything...like what percentage of Americans subscribe to MLBTV? 40 mil? 50 mil? 60 mil? 70 mil? It's not like it's painfully obvious and unless you remembered that fact, you're screwed.

I did well but only because I already knew a good portion of what had been taught, otherwise I would have been screwed.
