Just an up to date answer...

Jackets this year cost: $330.00, with $100 deposit upfront (included in the $330)
(this was for a jacket without removable lining, if you get the removable lining it costs more)

Any additional lettering aside from your program and year is an extra $4
i.e. to add '& MGMT' would be an extra $20

Definitely a sense of pride.
I'm not in Eng and I wish I were because I love the jackets!
Even the Willy-Dog Guy has his own jacket!

Look for postings re: sales throughout the JHE lobby and on the mes site in October.

Engineers only spend money on games like sc2 and ofcourse iphone 4. And almost never on clothing, I'd use to wear my cloth till it start to rip and die. Now you can buy cloth from mac eng.

Not that I'd pay 350 dollars for one, but could you ask them to make a custom jacket that says whatever you want on it?

Like "WOMEN'S STUDIES '11" or something like that?

pretty sure you can as the Willy Dog guy has one and I *think* I saw a Health Sci student with one, though that might have been something he made on his own. It would probably cost more though.
