Engineering 1 Time Table
Can someone please take a look at these timetables and give me any input on it. Is there a better way to arrange my courses? I would appreciate any advice. The first screen shot is term 1 and the second screen shot is term 2. thanks

I think your timetable looks good! It looks a lot like mine from last year. The only suggestion I could make is try to move you 830 Physics lab to another time in term 2. Doing 1E03 labs in the morning are brutal :(

Here is a counter-perspective. I find doing labs in the morning a lot easier back when I did 1E03. Mainly because it tend to be emptier and you get to have more personal assistance with the TAs.

My advice for first term will be unethical; however, this is what worked for me and I found to be the most beneficial strategy. I had my math cores at 12:30 since I never attended 1P03 lectures I found them to be boring and useless. I valued the rest more, I had friends who had the 8:30 Math cores but then would feel forced to stay for 1P03 since it was right after and they felt they were wasting their mornings.

Thanks everyone for there opinion. What does EOW mean? And does the area in green represent the times where I have a class? so if you look at my wednesday 1c03 class does that mean I go to class and there is a break and then I come back?

EOW just stands for "Every Other Week" meaning you'll have the lab or tutorial one week and then you're free for that time slot the next week and so on. So for example for physics, one week you'll have your lab and then the next week you have the tutorial. The green just represents that you have something scheduled for that time slot, I'm not sure why it has the broken lines it doesn't signify a break, might just be a design layout error.
