Engineering II Program Sizes
I was wondering in general how many students get in to each of the Eng II programs. I specifically care more about Mech, Civil, Materials, and Electrical since those were the ones I applied for.
Thanks in advance!!

Materials had a cap of 60 people 3 years ago (2007) That was the first time they ever had to limit it and I don't think they have since.
Civ usually has around 100 people.

I think we have at least over 110-120 people in mechanical. To put it in perspective...
Normally our classrooms are never full. I've been in TSH B105, MDCL 1105 (across from 1305). We might fit 3/4 of the classroom at full capacity? It'll be nothing like what you see in engineering I.
Hope you put Mech as your #1 choice

I think Materials II has about 40~45 people in it this year. This is sort of a ballpark figure, but it's small enough to only have one core section for all of the Materials-specific courses. If you have an average above 4, I find it hard to imagine anyone being rejected.

What's your CA?
I think a CA of 8 or above is good enough to get into most, if not all programs.

Eng Phys has a reputation for having the lowest cut-off average. I doubt it's ever over a 4.0, not enough people ever apply for it-I have no idea why, all in all, we're a pretty awesome department
In my second year, there were ~55 people, so again enough for just one core section for all our classes.

Apart from 2CI5, all of our other classes in ECE are 1 core. Most classes are ITB AB102, ITB 137, or MDCL.. or BSB
