ENVIR SC 1A03 vs 1B03
I accepted environmental science and i plan on switching to life science after first year and because of it i'm required to take two environmental science courses. I'm for sure going to take 1G03 but i can't decide between 1A03 and 1B03. Can anybody give me some insight as to which one i should take?

hey i don't know about 1b03, but i took 1a03 and it was easy.
you have 1 midterm, an exam, labs, and online quizzes.
the online quizzes and labs aren't hard to get good grade in. the prof (i had bernier) posts great lecture notes, too. if you're interested in that stuff, i'd recommend it.

I took both 1a03 and 1b03 and i found them equally boring lmao. But you can easily get a good grade in both of them!

Hmm..probably 1a03 because now that i think about it, the labs for 1a03 were easier than the labs for 1b03. We also had online quizzes this year that were really easy. So i guess, go with that

i took 1A03 this last year and i found it extremely boring.
however, the labs and quizzes are not difficult.
the quizzes are worth 15% total and i got like a 90% avg on those
my labs i got around 80% and they were worth a total of 30%
the midterm and final was harder and a bit tricky, but nothing you can't handle if you do your studying

i don't think you have to take any of those courses if you intend on moving into life sciences. i took 1a03 and i found it really boring.. did not enjoy that course at all.

the only reasons im thinking of taking 1B03 over 1A03 is cuz water seems ridiculously boring and now i just looked at the timetable and 1A03 is only offered at 8:30!

I picked 1B03 over 1A03 because I thought 'the living environment' seemed more interesting...but we talked about soil for a month... :/
And then water...and then dirty water and waste...and probably more soil
