I'd be interested in Math 1LS3 prep. Exam date: Dec 21st.

However, it depends on the time, place, and date.

I'd really like some 1LS3 help as well, for the exam on the 21st. Hopefully, the help can be closer to the exam date like on the Sat or Sun.

EDIT: Bio person; could you give some advice on the most efficient method to studying and scoring on the multiple choice exam for Bio?

Which Bio is it, and who are your profs?

Hey is it true that mcmaster has a policy that if a student fails a exam, they fail the course? I know other schools like ryerson has this type of policy but not sure if mac does too. Also, does this policy apply in engineering too?

I've been in some courses where we were required to pass the final to pass the course. I don't think it applies to every course though, only certain profs do it.

		 Hey,

I am obviously not a math or science student (3rd year History & English) but I think this is an excellent idea. Students helping students is such a great way to encourage group learning and has countless benefits for both parties.

Cheers to you for setting this up. If you can get it off the ground and extend it into other subjects, I'd absolutely think about offering services to first year students with essay writing tips etc. as a fourth year.

Good luck!

So there is a bit of interest in Math 1LS3 which is great...unfortunately (to my knowledge) no other sessions were held, probably due to bad publicity.

I'm not going to be available tomorrow because I have to give an hour and a half talk as part of the evaluation for one of my courses (the equivalent of a final exam I guess) and have to see other students' talks as well so I'm pretty much booked all day. Today's short notice, so that leaves Tuesday morning.

I'll post a separate topic offering 1LS3 help in a bit (with a specific time) and if I get 4 responses from interested people (or less if someone has interested friends) we can hold it and get down to some last minute exam business.

 A) You posted that separate topic somewhere in the forums, but I cannot find it.
B) You didn't post a separate topic, hence I cannot find it.

Since tomorrow is the big day, and I cannot find that topic you've mentioned, I'd like to ask here if you will be holding those last minute 'help' sessions.
