Forgetting that Mac posts their exam schedule ridiculously late (obviously unconcerned with students who need to travel home during the holiday season....), I'm a bit surprised that a tentative schedule has not been leaked (as it always is...).

I know that people complain if it changes after the fact, but it would give people some hope!

Last year the final schedule was posted October 9 - seems ridiculously late this year.

It would not surprise me at all if the release of the schedule is delayed due to MOSAIC.

Undoubtedly as everything else has been postponed on Mosaic throughout this start up year.

The issue is that airfares are literally going up daily - some of them went up over $200 in the last few days alone. Money is an issue and students are losing out. If you book on December 23 and then find out that you could have gone home on December 11 - it's a frustrating situation.

It is one of the things that Mac does not take into consideration for students from places outside ground transportation range!

Well, actually they just don't care - as far as they're concerned, you accepted your offer to Mac and therefore took on the responsibility of making sure you're there whenever you need to be, regardless of whether or not it is more convenient or expensive or whatever.

Yes that's apparent. It is one of those pieces to the mental health puzzle though - there is a significant rise in anxiety among the student population within post-secondary educational systems. There are many pieces to that puzzle and finding ways to reduce or mitigate stressors seems like a logical way for institutions to be proactive. Being a first rate institution doesn't have to just mean churning out graduates without consideration for all aspects of their school-life balance.

That being said, you are right. People are expected to put on their grown up pants and show up when needed.
