Wow I feel like such an idiot asking all these questions, but my friend wants to know if you can take second year courses in third year, since, in her situation, there's like 18 required courses for second year communications, but only like 12 or something for 3rd year. Is that possible to do that?

Yes you can take 2nd year courses in 3rd year, as long as you've fullfilled the requirements.

Give us time to answer questions! And remember not everyone can provide answers to all questions!
But yes, you can take third year courses in second year. I ended up taking...three I think when I was in second year.
Depending on why you didn't meet the requirements for Psych, you may actually be able to mirror the program, and get accepted into the double HBA in third year (I had to do that myself). For specifics, you'd need to talk to either/or the Psych undergrad counsellor or one of the Soc Sci academic counsellors.

Sorry about that. I thought maybe you'd missed it, and I'm pretty stressed out about the course selection thing, because mine is a day from now. lol Again, sorry.
Well I'm kind of moving away from the combined honours thing. I'm just curious as to whether it's worth it/even possible to get an HBA in socio and a minor in psych?

No worries.
Yes, it is certainly possible. Psych is the biggest department on campus...there are tons of courses and they are usually quite large.
I have been told, "minors are worthless" by a few profs (it depends on what you are trying to use the minor for)...so try and do the double HBA if possible...

Check the reviews section. I know I wrote one for Anthro 1A03, and one for Soc 1A06 was posted recently.

It depends on which of the four subfields of Anthro you're interested in. If you're considering Physical/Biological Anthro or Archeology is may be a good idea. As would an Anatomy course.

Well, I took it in 2004...so its very possible that the course has changed. Also, the prof I had was sessional, and I don't think has been back since.
My course was pretty much the same as grade 11 bio with a bit of 12 mixed in...

Hey everyone,
Has anyone taken commerce 4FP3?
Here are my questions.
1. Is it a useful course?
2. Overall, was it an easy course? Is it easy to do well in?
3. Is the course work heavy? Are there tests? assignments? are they simple/quick?
4. What is the course material like? (i.e. is it mostly math? memorization? what's an average test question?)
5. Any regrets having taken the course?
I was going to take a social science. I was thinking of taking Econ 1B03 (the first one), but someone suggested commerce 4FP3.
Thanks!
