I just wanted to add that to get into Honours Psych in 2nd year you need to get a 60% in Math 1M03 or a credit in Math 1A03.
I realised this difference in about March & had to work hard to get my (not so good) 1M03 mark up by the end of term. It would have been much better to have known this slight difference in the beginning

last year (07/08), I took Bio 1K03 & found it to be an identical course to 12U Bio
it has its boring moments because the material was all repetitive but when midterms & exams came I was not complaining

Paul, I don't know about the other course, but I do know about 1st year Economics 1b03. Take the first year 1b03, its fundamental economics that you will likely enjoy.

If it's possible... can someone do a review for Political Science 1G06? I'm a little worried about that course since I don't know too much of what's involved or what the difficulty is like.

Need Help
Hey I was wondering if anybody knows anything about the 3rd - 4th year ECON courses or ECON as general. I meant what is the difficulty level like for 3rd - 4th year ECON courses. Is it easy to get good grades in them or Can you end up with a 10 or higher in an undergraduate degree in Economics ???
Your input would be much appreciated.
Thank you

In general, it's hard to get 10's in fourth year courses...or at least that's what I've found or have had confirmed by other friends.
However, I haven't taken any Econs.

Anmali, Not sure about third year courses and above but Economics does get pretty tough second year . I'm a first year student who directly took 2h03(macro) and 2J03(environmental), they were rather tough and mostly calculus oriented models. All the interesting/amusing aspects of first year macro/micro are just a false premis indeed imo! But In the long run its worth it, Econ was the 2nd highest paying(starting) major according to forbes, sooo when things get tough the tough get going(or some other not so lame cliche )

I am currently in my 3rd year and have a combined major with honours economics and polticial science. In all honesty like it has been said getting a 10 average is very tough, however, not impossible. You must take Econ 3F03 and Econ 3U03. I took 3F03 with Dooley and he is an amazing teacher who is willing to help everyone and I finished with an 11 in the course. Econ 3U03 is econometrics and surprisingly I am doing very well and have an 86%. I also took labour studies which was okay, finished with an 8. If you work hard you could finish with an average of 10.
I know next year I am taking 4A03 but haven't really looked at other courses besides that yet
