Fail, Fail, Fail???
i failed chem 1E03 in term 1 of first year. could anyone tell me how much impact will this have on the job(co-op) I look for after the second year? even if i continue to do well, till the second year, will this fail grade force the employers to rethink before hiring me? because, barring chem, I have a 9. So this shows that I have done considerably well apart from one subject. also i have no interest towards chemical engineering or something. i am looking to get into electrical eng.

Employers mostly look at your average GPA. So once you retake chem and pass it, make sure your average is good, especially in 2nd year.

PS - chem sucks
