failed a prerequisite
I failed a prerequisite last semester for a course i was to take 2nd semester. I kept postponing meeting with a councillor, since i decided to do it in the summer...but the 2nd course was automatically dropped as of jan 11. How do i get my refund? i thought they would send it out in the mail right away but i haven't received anything?

Postponing a meeting with someone in administration seems like a sure fire way to be disappointed yet again. Go talk to the people in charge of money handling and courses. Who is that these days? The Registrar? Go visit them.

The student account should be checked first. If there is a credit in there, then the place to go would be student accounts and cashiers on the second floor of that same building.

They never send out checks immediately when students have credit in their accounts. It's much more time and cost efficient to send them all at the same time.

^ Yea, that. And I would bet the interest is a nice bonus for the school... If they keep $300 on average per student for maybe 1000 cases like this, that's a cool $300,000 they can collect interest on. Small change for the budget they run, but it'll help pay someone's bills.
