really, just talk to people sittng beside you in lectures when u arrive early, i already have seen a lot of people in multiple classes and if i talk to them a bit i think we'll be friends so doing this isn't hard, trust me
also get in lines, you'll always make atleast 1 friend that way
ask the way to a building...don't try too hard on stuff others can help you with (like finding a room), you'll get to know more people that way and then you can make them friends any time you want by just referring to the time you met
