today i was walking home around 4pm and i saw a whole bunch of trailers and lighting equipment set up at the westdale cinema. Are they filming a movie at the theatre today?

In downtown Hamilton, two days ago I apparently walked onto the set of "Harriet the Spy" while trying to catch a bus...which would be awesome if it made it into the film. xD

Then yesterday morning I saw the same set filming on the East Mountain (which was very foggy at the time).

I wonder if it's the same film?

Nope, I walked right onto the set and saw a sign that said something like "Smile you're on camera! We're currently filming: Harriet the Spy."

EDIT: I'm also not crazy, xD.

Stone ("Wizards of Waverly Place") will play the high school student Harriet Welsch in a TV project based on the classic kids book series by Louise Fitzhugh, and to shoot in Hamilton, Ontario, to Dec. 4.

They film at least like one movie per year in Westdale.

I think it was either last year or the year before... They were filming The Hulk in downtown Hamilton.. The sets were there at night too! Awesome!

And holy crap those technicians need to learn how to aim the lights. I'm surprised I can still see.
