				Final Admission?
Once your marks are in OUAC does anyone know how long it takes for you be confirmed as finally admitted (opposed to conditionally admitted)? |

 | er... i dont remember if you actually get confirmed on admittance, maybe someone else does?
I think as long as you continue to meet the requirements of your conditional offer, than your acceptance is automatically understood.

then again i could be wrong.

 | This is the e-mail I got last year that pertains to that.
 "Dear Feona,
Just a reminder that you must satisfy the conditions of your offer as outlined in your Offer of Admission letter. You must achieve a minimum final average of 75% including the required courses for Social Sciences I. You must also successfully complete your Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

Once we begin receiving academic information from the OUAC in mid-July, we will start the reviewing process.

If you are also required to satisfy the English Language Proficiency requirement condition, you must submit documentation to McMaster University by the deadline date."

I guess they're reviewing now or soon your marks and you will then be notified if you're accepted or not. Last year I received a package in the mail, with all sorts of welcome stuff and letters.

I was sorta fuzzy on remembering that too. I think you do... because I remember the nice folder with the CD in it, as well as little booklets and like 3 letters. But you wouldn't get an acceptance package if your marks haven't even been reviewed yet. |

 | That's the offer of admission, but that's also a conditional offer. The next package we get, will be the confirmation that you met all the requirements, and that'll be the official and final "offer" of admission and acceptance.

I just thought that maybe another letter of "congratuations on registration/accepting our offer" type of thing.. But I guess not . Thanks for clarifying.

 | well since you already received a conditional offer.. it basically says, if you continue to meet these requirements, this offer becomes a final offer of admission and your acceptance is guaranteed. |
