Are you sure?

Even though I feel really really guilty for slightly lying to my parents.

But I think it would hurt them more to know my real grades.

But just wondering, then why do they need your home address on mugsi?
And final grade reports are shown on mugsi?

The only time your marks are sent home is if you request that they be sent.
MUGSI needs to your mailing address because Mac sends you various things throughout the year - confirmation of enrolment, bursary/scholarship information, etc.
University is not like highschool. Mac operates under the idea that the only person who needs to know your marks and your personal information is YOU.

Nope, no marks get mailed to you except if you request it. And even if you request a transcript or something, you can choose to pick it up instead of have it mailed. So all in all, it's really up to you to tell your parents. I don't see the point in lying, especially if your parents are helping pay for your education, but I also know what you mean about not having them disappointed in you. That's more of a reason and motivation to work hard for your next set of marks so that you can actually show them the real ones, no?

OMG, I thought they mailed in the transcript! Unfortunately, not having it mailed in won't save me from telling them my (physics) marks...LOL. I did so bad it makes me laugh.

Maybe telling them that other people didn't do so well either will serve some sort of purpose and make them feel better about it, I hope so anyway

Actually, not so much immigrant parents as.. Parents who got used to your 95%+ in high school and can't see why you can't continue that streak in university as well
