Some punk kids shot fireworks into a house down the street from me at 3 am a week or so ago, and the house went up in flames. Thanksfully, someone inside was getting a midnight snack (allegedly) and woke everyone up, so no one was hurt.

Three life lessons:

1) Punk kids are idiots
2) Where the hell are the cops? And these kids' parents?
3) I really need to move.

Where do you live?!

I'm not a fan of consumer-purchased fireworks, although I am a huge fan of sparklers. They are awesome!

However, municipal fireworks are always a good time! Hopefully the weather cooperates today in Hamilton.

I just got back from Niagara Falls for their Canada Day fireworks. They were pretty amazing.
