First year Business I Avg to maintain
I was just a little confused on the first year average calculations since the grading system is different. What i wanted to know is that it says for first year business students you need a 5.0 grade point and that is 63 - 66 so if i get an overall 63 will i be able to continue in Commerce II ?? Thanks

If that gives you a 5.0 avg then you should be fine.

Your average is calculated for you on the grade report and it's stated in grade points not percentage.

So it seems the question has already been answered, but if you haven't googled it yet here's a link that may prove to be helpful

I would aim for a 6 just to be safe. Also, try not to convert grade points into percentages. It can get quite messy =/.

(and you shouldn't be aiming for a particular GPA, just do your best? Its hard to get that low of a mark if you're actually studying unless you're really unlucky or have bad profs..)
