First Year Comp Sci
Hey there,

Currently I'm doing Comp Sci and my courses so far are:
First Semester:
Comp Sci 1MD3
Econ 1B03
Math 1ZA3 (engineering)
Psych 1X03

Second Semester:
Comp Sci 1FC3
Math 1ZB3 (engineering)
Math 1ZC3 (engineering)
Econ 1BB3

I really want to get rid of Econ in second term but I have a problem with what I want to replace it with. I was thinking of having Comp Sci 1TA3 replacing it but under the Antirequisites for it, it lists Comp Sci 1MD3 as one of them. Does this mean that I can't take it?

Yes, that is what that would mean.

bds77 says thanks to Andrew A for this post.

When you get to the end of this year you'll have to choose a second year major, and the choices are Game Design, Honours Comp Sci (just straight Comp Sci) or Business Informatics (Business and Comp Sci).

I wouldn't drop that Econ unless you're not at all interested in doing Business Informatics.

As for courses have a look at English 1A03, it's an English course based on short stories and poetry, it's pretty easy and even fun!

Music 1AA3 is a really good course to take! Not a lot of work and pretty easy and fun if you have a little musical background!
