Is first year economics
Realistic of what to expect in upper-year economic courses? People say that micro/macro are easy courses, but do these two courses represent what economics really is?

Economics is not business. It's a social science. Just so you know.

First year economics are pretty joke courses. The exam/midterm questions are pretty much the same in all years and repeated in practice midterms.

Well, here's what economics really is: mathematics. Sorry Adelle.

(Of course, this isn't entirely true. There's nonmathematical theoretical economics out there...but you should be ready to see a bit of math, particularly game theory)

as far as I'm concerned, upper year econ courses involve much more mathematics like Mahratta said. some light proofs maybe? I'll be taking some upper year econs probably next year
