No, if you put it in when you know there is a conflict, MUGSI can't do anything about it. On the day the schedules come out in August, it will say there is a conflict and it won't schedule it. So better know now, then later. Why not take Math 1A03? Any particular reason?

Oh ok...then I better stick to what I have now. The reason for Math 1LS3 over Math 1A03 is because I'm not going any further in math and I only need to take it once, thus LS3 is what I need to get by. Is there a huge difference between the two?

One is geared towards Life Science students while the other is geared towards Math & Stats students.

No 1st year is the same regardless, other than the 2 electives (6 units). You decide what stream you want to pursue near the end of 1st year.

More info here, see the "Level 1 Courses" link on left hand side: http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /futur...radiation.html

Hey guys! Here's what I've registered for
1st term:
MedRad 1A03
Bio 1A03
Kine. 1Y03
Math 1A03
Hth Sci 1G03

2nd term:
MedRad 1B03
MedRad 1C03
MedRad 1D03
Kine. 1YY3
Hlth Age 1AA3

I'm surprised the medrad courses in second term are pretty much all back to back.

As xFly mentioned, there are 8 mandatory courses that all First year MedRad's take and you get 2 electives of your own choice (so they can be any courses of your liking!).

For specializations themselves, you will get many opportunities to get to know each specialization in depth and what it entails so don't worry about it now
