First year social science!
Hey all!

I just wanted to quickly introduce myself (my name's Gabrielle, but you can call me Gabby), and see who else is enrolled in social sciences for this September (I'm going to be majoring in Social Work). Anyone have any ideas of what they're going to take for electives?? I'm pretty nervous 'cause I've been out of school for a while... but excited too!!

Look forward to meeting some awesome new people!

Anthro 1Z03, Earth Sc 1G03, Bio 1P03, Psych 1X03, Geo 1HB3 & 1HA3, Envir Sc 1A03 and Inquiry 1SS3. Pretty random selection of courses for Social Work... hahaha

How about you?

Ohh I was going to take Anthro 1Z03, but I had no room :( I'm instead taking Theatre & Film 1T03, Multimedia 1A03 and 1B03, Classics 1B03, English 1CS3 and 1AA3, Inquiry 1HU3 and Communication 1A03. So only Social Work together. Should be a fun course though

Yeah, I'm really excited! I liked the sciences you're taking, but I doubt I'd be very good at them, math and science aren't my strong suits Are you staying in Residence?

Haha I haven't done sciences in so long, so I hope I do okay! But they sounded interesting so I had to! lol

And no, I'll be living in a house about a 10 minute walk from campus - how about you?

Lol well good luck! I bet it'll be fine
And that's cool, I'll be living in Matthew's Hall. Definitely not my first choice, but I'll make it work

No worries about being out of school! I met a few classmates who were a couple of years older or mature students and they were doing very well! So don't stress about that too much! And welcome to Mac!
