Hello, I got accepted into the Social Science program at McMaster and majority of my courses and electives consist of writing essays. Are there classes I can attend to improve my writing skills? Although I enjoy writing, at the university level I will like to get some guidance and possibly get some extra help if i do struggle to write a strong essay.

The Student Success Centre has a writing workshop offered as well as others for multiple choice, studying tips, etc. There's also writing assistants you can get. Also, TAs (teaching assistants who lead the tutorials for classes) are always willing to help, give you tips or even edit your thesis/essay drafts!
