Free parking on campus?
Obviously a stupid question and I'm pretty sure the answer is no... just wanna make sure. I've got a car for December and just curious as to if there's somewhere free to park on campus so I can drive on my exam days.

Nope. Parking used to be free after 7:45 and on Sundays, but ever since they put in the gates it's charged 24 hours, 7 days a week. You can park on some side streets for an hour, but that probably won't help for exams.

Most lots on campus are 5$ for up to 1 hr... 10$ for up to 2 hrs... 15$ for up to 3 hours...and anything over 4 hours is 20$...
or lots M (and I think the other back one is N, or O)...are only 5$ for the day....

Even the small parking lot right across commons? There's like a row of parking spaces.

Just wondering, do they have shuttle bus service during exam hours? And if so, is it their normal times (only weekdays until like.. 7 or whenever)

Across from Commons. There are a few spots that are free of charge. There are usually cars parked there. I'm not sure what those spots are for.

Those spots are paid now, they're only free on weekends

Just park on the grass, in which case, there is plenty of spots between JHE and the MUSC.

Hmmm are you sure? Because about a month ago I drove to a night class and was there for about 3 hours and I only had to pay like $5. This was at the parking lot like beside ITB/across from ABB.

Edit - I just realized that the lot I parked at may be one of those 5$ a day ones....I don't know which lot M, N or O is...lol

All the lots on campus except the really remote ones are between $5 and $20, depending on how long you stay. See the post above for the details. If you're there after about 4:30, it's just $5 flat rate for the evening. Weekends are $5 flat rate as well.

The spots in front of commons are technically not free, as you're supposed to get a ticket at the machine and place it on your dash. Same fees apply as the other lots. I think it just wasn't a smart cost decision to install a whole gate system for 15 spots.

Dromore is 1 hour parking Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm, like most (all?) streets around Mac..also, there's a lack of spots (at least where I live on it) at night - maybe 1 spot in a block most nights
