FRENCH 1Z06 Test 1 Question
Hi there, was wondering if anyone who has previously taken this course can chime in with regards to what to expect on test 1.
I haven't really had time to keep up with the practice questions and quizzes on the CD however I do see from the comments on this forum that if you pretty much know the CD material you should be fine for the test.
Can anyone let me know a) how important memorizing terms is? (ie. the courseware has many terms for things like different foods, and items that can be found in a house) are knowing these important? or is just overall understanding and knowing the CD primary focus of the test? And b) does the test have a somewhat similar format as the courseware with regards to answering questions? (ie. terms provided with you having to know the meaning of them and being able to put them into the correct format of a sentence?)
I also remember seeing on here that someone was selling a copy of their test along with their courseware... If anyone has a copy of a French 1Z06 test they are willing to share please let me know via inbox! I'm also curious as to whether or not sample exams for this course can be found anywhere... If I recall correctly I think I remember hearing that the library carries copies of past exams for students to review?

Do every question from the C.D. Know all masculine/feminine of words. Every question on the test was from the C.D; it's quite helpful.

So in a nutshell as long as I know how to answer the questions on the CD I should be fine? Would you suggest I take the time out to memorize the different terms in the courseware? ie. the different foods, items in a room like chair, table etc. or is that not really that relevant to the test?

Once again, everything is from the CD. What I did is do everything over and over the night before. That way, I just felt like I "knew" stuff instead of memorized. Boy do I have nightmares from that CD

Yes, it is on the 26th at 7 pm but email the prof for testing locations because they could vary.
