Fridge
Hi I was wondering whats the policy of getting ur own fridge for a bunk n loft triple room because here it states that we will be provided with one (http://housing.mcmaster.ca/Bunk%20and%20Loft.htm ) but i just wanted to double-check. Thanks, Krit

If Housing and Confrence Services says you're being supplied a fridge in a bunk and loft triple then you should be getting a fridge.

I lived in a bunk and loft three years ago and had a fridge, as did my friends who lived in a bunk and loft two years ago.

Bunk and loft is a triple room; as there is a bunk bed and the loft bed.

Okay, now I'm a little confused..
We're given a fridge? How is one fridge suitable for 3 people? And, in the handbook sent in the mail, it says we're allowed to bring our own, but on the site it says we're not allowed.
Confusing!

Which website are your referring to, Ashley23? Can you post the link?

In the past, triple rooms were given a mini fridge, as I already stated.

You're right, it is a tight squeeze for three people. That's why lots of people I knew/know ('twas three years ago) brought a fridge anyways. Or some people just had no idea they were given a fridge and kept the one they brought.

I lived in a triple last year and NEVER was I informed about the slightest possibility of being supplied a fridge free of charge! :( My roommates and I rented one from Coldex.

So you never got a fridge, or you rented one and had two, lucc?

I just read over the website that Krit posted with a fine-toothed comb. It's from 2004. (That's why if you noticed the residence fee was cheaper by a few hundred dollars).

Thus, I really don't know what to tell you anymore, Krit. All I can suggest is to call Housing and Confrence Services, and ask them.

I rented one from Coldex and that's the only one we had. Oh well, what's done is done.

Hmm. I suppose then they changed some stuff around last year...

Maybe being in the double cohort actually had something good come of it.
