I used my common room fridge last year and the year before and it was fine as long as I labelled everything. Mind you, I lived in all-girls floors both years, if that means anything. It really depends on the people living on your floor. It's really all up to you and how often you'll be using it. I'll be living in McKay next year and I'm also just planning on using the common fridge. Maybe just putting everything of mine in a bag so it's not see-through and just labelling it. Hopefully that works!

Get a trunk that will fit your bought fridge, lock it up, and if somebody asks what you have in your trunk thats so heavy just say... clothes...

ok, i talked it over with my roommate and we just decided to get one from the school and split the costs 50/50
so all good now i guess (y)

but still kinda angry that we're being scammed so bad >:(
