Full year courses?
So I'm a little confused. Looking at professional school prerequisites it says that I require a "Full year of __________." Does this mean that I have to take those courses together in that year consecutively? Like, for example... Full year of humanities/social science. Is it possible to take Econ1B03 in 1st year and then Econ1BB3 (Or whatever the other course is) in 2nd year and that will count as a full year in humanities/social science? Or will I have to take both in the same year.

In addition, does Psych1x03 and Psych1xx3 count as social science courses?

Thanks!

You don't have to take them consecutively, you can take them whenever you life, as long as you fulfil the prereqs before you apply. Mac counts psych as a science course, but other universities might count them as soc sci courses so it would be best to ask the institutions that you're interested in.

No, it just means that you have to have a full year's worth (ie. 6 units) of humanities/soc sci courses. You can take them in the same year or in different years, doesn't matter.

As for psych, it depends on the school. It's under the Faculty of Science at Mac but I used psych as humanities/soc sci prereqs for vet school and Guelph accepted them. So check with the schools you plan on applying to.
