One full year OR 2 half year courses?
Hi, i am currently in Humanities 1, and i wanted to take Intro to programming as well as some future computer science courses as electives but in order to take it I need a math course and I only did advanced functions in high school.

I was wondering if I should take ARTS&SCI 1D06, a full year course or if I should take, MATH 1F03 and then Math 1M03. Please let me know asap so I Know which to drop.

Also let me know if there are any other prerequistes for Intro to programming that would be easier or better. Thanks.

You need to be in Arts&Science to take Arts Sci 1D06.

You'd need to take Math 1F03 followed by 1M03. Art Sci is only for those in the Arts and Science program. It's not open to anyone else.

yep I know I have to take Math 1F03 followed by Math 1M03, thanks for your replies, so Arts & Science would be out then? Has anoyone taken any of the math courses I mentioned would know the difficulty level compared to HS Advanced functions? If i did good in advanced functions would I be good for those math courses?

Yep Arts&Sci would definitely be out. And as long as you have Advanced functions, it's enough because Math 1F03 is equivalent to Calculus and Vectors 12U. Math 1M03 on the other hand, it Level I Math (university). So you'll be fine .
