Taking second year courses in third/fourth year
Do graduate schools disapprove of students in third/fourth year taking lower-level courses (i.e. first/second year courses)? I am aware that different schools will have different requirements, but for the most part, do they penalize your cumulative GPA or anything like that? (I am in third year and taking 3-4 second year courses). Thanks in advance :)

It depends on the school and the program, I know some that require you to take a certain % of courses in your level. I think they also consider level 3 and 4 equal. Contact the graduate schools you are planning to apply to.
