Which courses are full?
Hello I'm going into first year next year so I can't pick my courses until the 28th, I'm just wondering what courses (I have 15 elective units first year) are still available. I want to take spanish 1z06, linguistics 1a03, anthropology 1a03, and geog 1ha3, does anyone know if they are full or not yet? It also doesn't look like I'll have a lot of choice for my core timeslots...

Right now first year classes are full because the max number of seats held for upper years is taken. The majority of the seats are reserved for first years so you should be fine once first year registration starts =)

They reserved seats for first year, so even though the first year courses may appears full for upper years, you can still get a seat when Solar opens for you =)
Be quick that day and hope Mugsi/Solar doesn't hate you!

What courses are full? Anything that's remotely interesting. I hope you aren't plagued with my bad luck!

thanks for the replies
O I understand now, I was worried haha, ya I'm gonna try to get on right away, and apparently signing in before the start time can be helpful. I'm really hoping for my optimal schedule I have planned out...

yup it will help. you probably wont be able to sign in through mugsi so sign in through grade reports and then click like mad on mugsi starting 5-10 mins before 12 am. don't go overboard with getting on early because then random things will happen such as time outs and what not.
oh the wonders of mugsi....

In first year you should be able to get into most things b/c class sizes are large to accommodate all the students taking general Level 1 courses and you need to be able to take courses in order to choose different possible majors so you have to be able to have 6 units of this, 6 units of that etc.
