Full Courses
I'm just curious as to what courses people couldn't get into because they were full. [feel free to complain about it!]

For me?
I wanted LING 1A03 [and LING 1AA3, but I can't take it unless I get into 1A03]. It irks me that Term 2 ling is still open, meaning some people are taking just term 1 and are just taking it as a whatever elective [at least, that is my interpretation. I don't see why Term 2 would have more spots]

and JAPANESE 1Z06, which I'm fully disappointed in it being full.

I took Term 1 and Term 2 Latin and Sociology as back-ups. Both of which I find interesting, but I would have rather had my first choice.

What about you guys?

First year ling is always pretty popular as an elective. Keep trying though. I got into it last year after a few days trying. You probably will too.

So far, I can't get in to French 1Z06, Ling 2D03, or Ling 3I03, and I need to switch a couple tutorials to different times, but the times I need are full. All in all, not too bad.

Also, If anyone is in any of the above classes and is thinking of dropping it, let me know. We can trade if I have anything you need.

First year Anthro will almost definitely open up. It's strange that Bio 2D03 is full - is the course very interesting or very easy? I've never enjoyed learning about only plants; the material seems kind of dry to me (though that's not to say my interests are necessarily representative of the majority).

if you truly NEEEEED it to graduate, e-mail science cuz they have to let you in but you absolutely have to need it and it cannot be an elective or like a "you can choose 9 units outta 12 thing"

I didnt get kin yo3 /1yy3 but its ok i took stats n psych instead and let me tell you my timetable has never ever looked better

shockalot says thanks to MCHEDDENITE for this post.

It's one of the easier second year biology courses.
