do courses usually open up when they're full after aug 15, rite now 3 courses i really need are full what are the chances of them opening up.

they not mandatory, jus pre-reqs for alot of courses for second and third year, which is going to be my specialization(biolog y) so if i dont get them i'm really screwed!! HELP?

1) try talking to the department and see if they will open a spot for you seeing as they are pre-reqs for your desired program

2) wait until the drop add period when there will be seats opening up as people switch around courses

3) if you still can't get in, attend the classes and talk to the prof. Beg if you have to.

You can also wait for August 25 when people get deleted for not completing their registration/payment agreement.

I only got 1 out of the 3 electives I wanted, so I'm going to try those 3 steps for the popular ones I missed out on and just pray that I'll get one. It's amazing how they can be snapped up within minutes of solar opening!
