Fundraising/Toy Drive in Hamilton?
What are some good locations in Hamilton to set up Fundraisers and/or Toy Drives?

I'm assuming it would be good for it to be in well-populated areas, and also a 'wealthy' community.

Thanks.

There is already one in the works that MFNSA (the McMaster First Nations Student Association) is putting on that will benefit the Hamilton community as well as the Lubicon and Lakota. The aim is to have support from all of the departments on campus. One of the MSU services and at least one academic program is already on board.

If you're thinking of starting one, why not join the one with MFNSA so there isn't competition (to donate to several groups)? You can contact them at [email protected] il.com

There's also lots of organizations like the Good Shepherd that always need volunteers and donations

Unfortunately, I actually need to organize this individually.

Hopefully someone can provide some locations. Thanks.

Plenty of poorer people donate too, it's not just wealthy people who support their community.

Go downtown and talk to local churches, they may be of use to you.

I'm not sure where fundraisers/toy drives normally set up shop but, Limeridge comes to mind.

So does somewhere along Upper James... It's just like, a long row of plazas and well known stores and such. It seemed like a nice area when I went.
