What are the gaps on my timetable?
On my timetable, there are gaps within the green block that says my course name on it. What are they? :/ For some reason I'm not able to attach a photo from my laptop or a URL.

Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about?

I think I know what you're talking about. I've attached my term 1 timetable; do you mean gaps like the ones in my Monday and Wednesday afternoon labs? If so, don't worry about it. SOLAR just does that for no reason (what else is new?). It doesn't mean anything.

Yeah those ones! But I don't have labs. Its just a third year English course. Does that still mean it's there for no reason?

Yeah, it doesn't mean anything. If your english class is a night class (3 hours), that might explain it, since this glitch tends to happen more often for longer classes (larger boxes on the schedule), from what I've seen.

I always thought it was to make it easier to tell how long a class is, in some ridiculous nonintuitive way.

It doesn't always happen, though. I have basically the same lab in term 2 (2LB3 instead of 2LA3, but same times and length) and it's a solid green block.

I don't think they mean anything.
